when holden was a baby, we went to some sort of class every single day.  he was always surrounded by a handful of other children for a few hours of every day, allowing both him and i to socialize.  but now that he's older, he seems to have lost all interest in the classes that he used to find entertaining, preferring to spend all of his time outdoors searching for acorns or collecting rocks with his mama.  and i'm finding that for my own sanity, i need to find and explore new activities for us because frequenting the same park daily can get a little monotonous.  the last day of february felt like summer had arrived (somehow skipping spring completely), making me eager for all of the activities that summer brings:  swimming, picnics in the park, playdates with friends, family bbqs, and all of the other fun summer outings.
